Terribly behind
So I’m way behind on making this moppet pattern. I’ve been trying to get it done, but the glue takes forever to dry, and I have to leave each part to dry for a day until I can use it again. However, I’m making progress, and with some good luck I may be able to have the pattern for sale in a couple of weeks. It’s particularly slow because I have to take pics, format the pics, retake pics, make sure the patterns and diagrams match what I did and my instructions… etc.
Anyway, here’s a pic from where I’m up to:
Testing out some eyes on the puppet. I decided to have pink furry eyes instead, but this was the best shot that lets you see roughly how the pattern is going to turn out. (It’s going to be two patterns actually, and a half-bodied puppet. I figured that bodies and heads can be interchangeable; so you can buy a round-headed pattern and buy a round body to go with it. Or a long rectangular body instead. Or you could - at a later stage when all this is done - buy a bell-shaped head pattern and get the round body pattern…)
In the meantime, I’m going to go back and try and finish this lot before I fall asleep.
