Muppets.com - not available for Aussies
It used to be that I could visit Muppets.com, and it was a great site - no more. It's blocked off for everyone unless you're in the US. If you're not, you get shunted onto a more appropriate site depending on country/continent. Australians will just have to suffer visiting the less impressive Disney Australia page.

Ah, that's dumb, and I know it's just that website. There are many sites that would block connections from different countries. I think it all comes down to who owns what right in which region. I found it to be really stupid though, because anyone can hop on a Proxy and access whatever they want. (Yeah, I know, it does take some time and skills to set up, but that still makes me think it's a stupid practice.)

Yes, I agree. It's the same thing with watching TV on the net. Quite often TV shows over here have already been seen, but still if you go to NBC's site or whatever, you can't watch those very same episodes online. I find it incredibly frustrating, because I watch a lot of shows that are considered 'cult' here and aren't shown regularly or at a good time slot.
I know it's all about copyrights etc, but as you say, anyone can download what they want, so why bother paying access to download something when you can find it somewhere else for free...
Having said that, I don't condone piracy :)
